MAKE PLANS TO HAVE FUN AT UNITED'S ANNUAL MEETING
United Cooperative Services’ Annual Meeting is a day of member appreciation and an opportunity to update the membership about the past year’s business successes and accomplishments. After more than seven decades in business, the Annual Meeting is also a perfect time for members to gather together and learn more about the co-op.
The event is scheduled for Oct. 19 at Glen Rose High School Auditorium.
Members are encouraged to attend for many reasons. First and foremost, the meeting caps off the election process for United’s Board of Directors. Members can vote by mail by sending in the ballot located on the cover of the September issue of Texas Co-op Power or they can vote in person prior to the Annual Meeting. Election results are announced at the end of the Annual Meeting.
Equally important is the Manager’s report given by CEO/General Manager Cameron Smallwood. The year-in-review is a narrative of United’s Annual Report, made available in the September issue of Texas Co-op Power.
Also, the Annual Meeting is the perfect time for members to ask questions and gather information on the happenings of the co-op. United members can meet their board members and co-op employees all while enjoying the other activities going on during the Annual Meeting.
